On Nursing Bras

Can we all just agree that nursing bras are the worst?  Because the first twelve few weeks of breastfeeding were pretty painful for me, I tried literally every bra I could find at Target.  After 16 months of nursing, I think my favorite "nursing" bras are, in fact, not nursing bras at all.  They're really stretchy bras without underwire that I got while super pregnant because my belly was hitting my underwire bras when I sat down.  So, yeah.

I had a conversation with one of my good friends who recently became a mommy about nursing bras.  She was like, "I feel like I'm doing this wrong.  I can't get the cups to stay down when I feed him..." and as I told her about my favorite nursing bras, I thought perhaps I should compile a list of the better ones.  While I know that everyone has different preferences, these bras are what I've found are the most comfortable and conducive to easy nursing.  Most are underwire and cup free, and most are found at Target [my favorite and best store ever].

1.  Gilligan O'Malley- Great for working out.  $15.40
2.  Gilligan O'Malley Comfort Nursing  - I have 2.  Don't let your hubs put this in the dryer! $16.99
3.  Stella Maternity Nursing - no wires anywhere, definitely my favorite actual nursing bra. $23.99
4.  Racerback Nursing Bra- Great for summer tank tops.  $19.98
5.  St. Eve Seamless Day- Available in black & nude- my favorite non-nursing nursing bra $13.99
